«SWAN Gymnastic Center» opened up in Florence in 1985. Structured on two levels, it is located in Via dei Pepi, downtown Florence, between the wonderful Piazza Santa Croce and the characteristic S. Ambrogio market. The gym is easily accessible by public bus: #14 has two stops on Via dell’Agnolo and Via Ghibellina, #23 has one on Via Verdi and the stops of electric buses A and C. By signing up you get free access to the gym, free use of cardio and isotonic equipment and frequency of our classes.

The rooms of the gym «Swan Gymnastic Center» are air-conditioned, providing in summer and winter the ideal temperature for the perfect workout. It improves at the same time strength, power and muscular endurance but also the function of the cardio respiratory apparatus.
Muscle toning activity that makes use of small tools such as dumbbells, rubber bands and ankle straps. It is a workout aimed at strengthening and defining the main muscle groups. This training is exclusively low impact. Part of the lesson is dedicated to strengthening exercises for abdominals, buttocks, adductors and abductors.
Shaping gymnastics for legs, buttocks and abdomen through intense localized muscle work. G.A.G., or: «Glutei Addome Gambe». These three parts of the body are in fact stressed in the series of movements aimed at toning them. Simple exercises not stressful fitness to be performed standing or lying down, to the rhythm of music. Constancy in G.A.G. promises excellent results and is practically within everyone's reach, except for those who suffer from knee or back problems.
Intense free-body general toning activities. The first part: aerobic work for toning and slimming, the next phase: muscular stretching, both as a moment of muscular defatigue and as a main tool to remove the stress of the working day, favoring greater recovery and improving significantly the night's rest.
STEP & TONE
Lesson aimed at cardiovascular exercise and toning of the lower limbs using a platform adjustable. The step lesson: a series of movements of more or less constant intensity that are performed by climbing up and down from a platform of about 30 cm in height. This particular exercise performed to the rhythm of music and for a period of time longer than 45 ', stimulates energy metabolism of aerobic type.
Discipline whose technique is based on the fusion of two fundamental elements such as aerobics and martial arts. This activity is not only playful and engaging, but it allows to discharge in a positive way the aggressiveness accumulated in everyday life. The result is a mix of well-being and pleasure that allows us to be in shape while also learning to defend ourselves.
Muscle conditioning program that increases basal metabolic rate and stimulates fat consumption through alternating toning exercises. The lesson is structured in two phases: first part standing with cardiovascular training exercises and general toning with the use of step, weights and elastic bands. Second part on the ground, with exercises aimed at toning the abdomen and buttocks. It ends with stretching exercises. Low impact suitable for everyone.
Exercise program that focuses on the postural muscles: those muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential in providing support to the spine. Particular attention is paid to toning and strengthening the abdomen, buttocks, adductors and lumbar area through six basic principles: precision, concentration, center of gravity, control, breathing, fluidity.
«Fluid» exercises to strengthen back, abdomen, legs, arms and hips. Beautiful and elegant movements to improve muscle tone and body flexibility. Moderate pace workout helps preserve joints, ligament elasticity, improve posture and endurance without creating excessive load on the spine.
It is the union of the concentration of Yoga with the physical exercise of Pilates. They are exercises of stretching of the spine and stimulation of the abdominal muscles performed slowly and with concentration. The sequence is harmonious and continuous.
«SWAN Gymnastic Center» is open every day, all day long. With the subscription you can freely use all the services: weights, equipment and cardio machines. Fitness classes are done at scheduled times.
